This policy provides clear guidelines for all rockwealth Appointed Representatives (ARs), Directors, and Personnel on how to conduct themselves on social media and maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
As a regulated financial advice firm, rockwealth is held to a higher standard when it comes to online communications. This policy exists to protect you, your clients, and the rockwealth brand while giving you clarity on what you can and cannot do.
This policy applies to all ARs, Partners, Directors, and Personnel across the rockwealth group. By joining rockwealth, you agree to abide by this Social Media Policy as maintained and updated periodically.
Central Brand Control
To maintain brand consistency and regulatory compliance across the group, all rockwealth branded platforms are managed and maintained centrally.
Central control applies to:
- All rockwealth branded websites
- All rockwealth branded social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.)
- All group communications and newsletters
- All marketing materials carrying the rockwealth brand

LinkedIn Guidelines
LinkedIn is the primary social platform for financial professionals. These guidelines will help you present yourself professionally while staying aligned with the rockwealth brand.
Required actions for your LinkedIn profile
- Link your profile to the rockwealth group page - Your employment/company should show rockwealth and link to the group page
- Use the rockwealth branded background image - This will be provided to you and creates visual consistency across the network
- Include the personal views disclaimer - Add the required disclaimer to your profile (see section 5 below)
What you must not do
- ✗ Create individual rockwealth branded LinkedIn pages for your office or practice
- ✗ Create any rockwealth branded accounts on Facebook, X, YouTube or other platforms
- ✗ Use the rockwealth logo or branding without authorisation
- ✗ Post content that could be construed as financial advice
- ✗ Share confidential client or business information

The following rockwealth branded platforms are managed by the central marketing team. No individual offices or ARs should create accounts on these platforms using rockwealth branding:

- Market commentary and investment insights

You are encouraged to share and engage with these posts from your personal profile to extend their reach.
Personal Posts & Disclaimers
You are free to post on your personal LinkedIn profile without requiring approval from rockwealth. However, you must include a disclaimer and follow these guidelines.

- Be professional and respectful at all times
- Do not offer or appear to offer financial advice
- Do not share confidential client or business information
- Do not make claims about investment performance or outcomes

- Remember that the internet is permanent - think before you post
Remember: There is no clear line between your work life and personal life online. Everything you post can be traced back to you and may reflect on rockwealth. Always write as if everyone - clients, regulators, and colleagues - will read it.

These guidelines apply to any online medium where your activity may reflect on rockwealth, including blogs, forums, comments sections, and messaging platforms.
Golden rules
- The internet never forgets - Everything you write online can be traced back to you and may be archived permanently
- Maintain confidentiality - Never post confidential or proprietary information about rockwealth or clients
- No financial advice - Never give financial advice or form client relationships through social media
- Stay professional - Avoid controversial topics, arguments, and negative commentary
- Identify yourself - When relevant, identify your affiliation with rockwealth to add credibility
- Don't return fire - If you see negative comments about rockwealth, do not respond publicly. Escalate to the central team
- No self-promotion - Avoid self-laudatory statements about yourself or rockwealth
- Respect copyright - Always credit sources and do not reproduce content without permission
Handling negative comments
If you encounter negative posts or comments about rockwealth online:
- Do not respond publicly
- Do not engage in arguments or counter with negativity
- Take a screenshot for records
- Report immediately to the central team
- We will handle the response appropriately
